Dr. Jarett Hulse has been practicing dentistry since 2005. He was born and raised in New York City, then moved down to Austin, TX with his wife Stephanie to start a new life, a family, and a dental practice! Dr. Hulse graduated in 2001 with a bachelors of science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He then received his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. Following that, he completed an intensive general practice residency in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
After his residency he joined a high end cosmetic dental practice in the heart of Manhattan, just three blocks from Times Square. There he practiced for several years and developed a following, before deciding that it was time to leave the rat race and move down south to become a dentist to the kinder, nicer people of Austin, Texas.
Dr. Hulse prides himself on his attention to detail and his never ending quest to improve and bring the best cosmetic dentistry to Austin. Dr. Hulse is determined to let Austin know that Cosmetic dentistry doesn’t have to look fake and you can have beautiful natural looking white teeth!
Though Dr. Hulse has been out of school for many years, he is constantly educating himself and learning more and more about the fast moving field of dentistry. In fact, Dr. Hulse has taken so many continuing education courses that he has been awarded his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D). To do this a doctor must past a rigorous exam, and take 1100 hours of continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. Less then 1% of dentists ever achieve this award. Most are 15-20 years older then Dr. Hulse when they do. To obtain it at the age of 36 as Dr. Hulse did is very rare indeed. Since that time Dr. Hulse has continued to learn and takes approximately 10X the education requirements every year.
Due to his extensive education in Dental Implants, Dr. Hulse has also obtained his Fellowship in the world renowned International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I.). Being awarded these two fellowships puts Dr. Hulse in a very elite group of dentists. He strives to be the best dentist in south Austin.
