Dr. Sundar earned her dental degree from Saveetha Dental College, India. She completed three years of Residency in Periodontics and Implant dentistry from Ramachandra university, Chennai. Her passion for Periodontics led her to complete one more Residency, achieving Master’s and specialist training in Periodontics and Implant dentistry from Oklahoma University of Health Sciences at Oklahoma City (OUHSC). While at OUHSC, she served as the Chief Resident and also the student ambassador for AAP foundation. She was awarded two prestigious grants (University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Advanced Student Research Program Grant, and The Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation) to aid in her thesis research.
Having completed two Residency trainings in India and the USA, she is extensively trained in regenerative, soft tissue, recession coverage, implant, and sedation (oral and IV) procedures.
Dr. Sundar has vast clinical experience in two countries – India and the USA. With the experience she has gained over the years, she practices with an evidence-based approach and compassion as the cornerstone of patient care. She has many scientific publications in both clinical and pathogenesis areas of Periodontics. She also attends several continuing education programs to remain updated and provide the best care for her patients.
