Dr. Moody was born and raised in Lithonia, GA where he was a member of the first graduating class of the newly constructed Martin Luther King Jr. High School in 2005.
For his undergraduate education, he attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he graduated with in the top 10% of his class with a BS in Biology.
Dr. Moody attended dental school at the historic Howard University College of Dentistry (HUCD) where he graduated ranked top ten in his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon International Dental Honor society.
His first love and current hobby is singing and writing music. His favorite singer is Stevie Wonder.
After dental school, he was accepted into orthodontics specialty residency at HUCD and obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2015. He was Chief resident and graduated ranked #1 in his residency class.
Dr. Moody also loves baseball and played competitively throughout much of his childhood and early adulthood. He currently is the head coach and plays for an adult softball team in Atlanta, GA
