Dr. Jonathan Eshleman grew up in Raleigh, NC, the oldest of three siblings and the son of an engineer. As early as the first grade, he was interested in a career in health care. He loved working with his hands, which gave him an appreciation for the artistic aspect of dentistry. His desire to serve people also made it a perfect career choice for him.

Dr. Eshleman is inspired by Paul’s words in 1 Thes. 4:9-12. “Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another … But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more, and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders.”

Dr. Eshleman considers it his call to serve his patients. It is a vital part of his relationship with God. He is quiet and thoughtful, and he brings a calming spirit to their care. Dr. Eshleman has a desire for his patients to feel served, cared for, and welcomed as honored guests.

He loves listening to patients’ stories and crafting solutions to fit their needs. His gentle demeanor puts patients at ease. He has been named one of Charlotte Magazine’s Top Dentists.
