Susan K. Wilson D.D.S., dental surgeon, is a native of Columbus, Ohio. Educated in Columbus City Schools, Dr. Wilson attended Highland and Watkins Elementary, Beery Junior High, and graduated from Marion-Franklin High School in 1974. She attended Howard University and The Ohio State University receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from The Ohio State University in 1978 and 1983, respectively.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Wilson served as an Associate Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry from 1983-1993.
In 1992, Dr. Susan Wilson married Mr. Bill Brooks, and they have one daughter together, Dr. Maurina L. Brooks.
Dr. Wilson is the first African-American female to open a private dental practice in Columbus, Ohio, and has been serving the Columbus area out of her East side office for over 30 years. She is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Columbus Association of Dentists (CAD), the local chapter of the National Dental Association (NDA).
