Dr. Theodore (“Ted”) Bauer grew up in Ottawa, Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he was involved in numerous student organizations and student government associations at varying levels, including President of the Inter-Professional Council. Dr. Bauer was recommended to this practice by E. Gordon Gee, president of The Ohio State University.
Dr. Bauer is a recipient of the Ohio State College of Dentistry Alumni Leadership Award and currently serves on the OSU College of Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee.
Dr. Bauer is a member of the Capital City Dental Forum, the Columbus Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, the OSU Dental Alumni Society and the Ohio State University Alumni Association. He is an Eagle Scout, and has served on the Ohio State Dental Board as an appointee of Ohio Governor John Kasich. Dr. Bauer is also a steering committee member for the Ohio Dental Association Dental OPTIONS program. Dr. Bauer has traveled to Guatemala multiple times with the CRISP foundation to perform dental services for those in need. A lifelong buckeye fan, he is the son of two Ohio State alumni.
