Dr. Garrett Goodling loves to make people smile. Originally from northern Maryland, Dr. G received his undergraduate degree in Biology from The Ohio State University, only to return to the Mid-Atlantic region for his postgraduate studies at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While working on his degree, Dr. G completed a clerkship in oral maxillofacial surgery, a specialty program designed to teach advanced techniques in oral surgery and management of head and neck cancer patients. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he completed a general practice residency at Christiana Care Hospital, where he honed his abilities in both cosmetic and family dentistry.

Dr. Goodling has a passion for maintaining healthy smiles. He believes that superior oral health is a gateway to personal confidence and overall health. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and numerous groups committed to pushing the boundaries of quality dentistry and patient comfort. His commitment to his patients shines through exceptional patient care and continuing education. Dr. Goodling has completed several courses in implant dentistry, emphasizing the latest in digital planning, implant surgical techniques, and bone grafting. He is also working on training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. G enjoys staying active. He loves golfing, hiking, grilling, and watching his favorite sports teams. In fact, he met his wife, Kaitlin, playing basketball. The story, as he tells it, is that he let her win a game of ‘HORSE’ on their first date.
