Dr. Amanda Komisarow grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Komisarow then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduating she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Birmingham, Alabama where she received advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, and implantology. Dr. Komisarow is also a member of the Charleston division of the Seattle Study Club where she continues to advance her dental education and training.

In her free time Dr. Komisarow loves to take her dogs, Maverick and Diego, around town or to the beach. She also enjoys running, cycling, and staying active.
