Dr. Bob Barrows brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for providing exceptional dental care to the Charleston community. A proud graduate of both Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Dr. Barrows began his dental career serving in the U.S. Navy. During his service, he was stationed at the Goose Creek Weapons Station and overseas in Guam, where he not only cared for service members but also volunteered his time treating underprivileged children in rural South Carolina.

After completing his Naval service, Dr. Barrows practiced in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a decade before making the heartfelt decision to return home to Charleston in 2018. Settling on James Island, close to his family, he took some time to restore his family home before stepping into his role as the owner of Charleston Family Dentistry in 2020.
