Dr. Caresa Doakes is a Kansas City, Missouri native. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri St. Louis. After working for two years as a scientist in the biotechnology industry, Dr. Doakes decided to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist.
Dr. Doakes attended the University Of Missouri Kansas City School Of Dentistry, earning her DDS in 2014. Upon graduation, she received The Quintessence Award for Restorative Dentistry and The John R. Killip Leadership Award. Not only is Dr. Doakes a diplomat of the International Dental Implant Association, but she is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Missouri Dental Association, The American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Doakes has obtained advanced training with continuing education courses that include Implant Seminars, Progressive Orthodontics, Gerety Orthodontic Seminars, FastBraces® and Invisalign®. As a lifetime learner, she is currently in pursuit of an advanced dental degree at USC in the subjects of Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine.
