Dr. Eric Muraoka is the lead General Dentist and owner of Kaizen Dental Center. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Muraoka attended the prestigious Iolani School for his formal high school education. He went on to receive his Bachelors in Chemistry from Lewis and Clark College, then stayed in Portland where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Oregon Health and Sciences University.

*Since opening his practice in Honolulu, Dr. Muraoka has been voted one of “Hawaii’s Best Dentist” by Honolulu Magazine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Muraokaloves surfing and serving as a pitching coach for the Iolani High School Baseball Program. When he isn’t surfing and coaching, he loves reading and learning about topics ranging from nutrition to 3D printing. He especially loves learning about the newest techniques and technology in dentistry, a passion that has sparked his love for digital dental manufacturing.
