Dr. Zhou has complete trust and confidence from her patients, and is well respected by colleagues due to her experience and passion for dentistry. Her philosophy in patient care is to provide quality care to patients by prescribing a treatment plan that fits each patient’s unique situation. Dr. Zhou is adept in comprehensive planning and treatment for braces, crowns, bridges, veneers, complete dentures, removable partial dentures and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Zhou has received extensive training in general dentistry and orthodontics both in the United States and China. Dr. Zhou completed her orthodontic residency training with a PhD degree from Beijing in 2003. Dr. Zhou also holds a DDS degree from UNC Dental School at Chapel Hill. She is member of the American Orthodontic Society and American Dental Association. She has devoted herself to clinical research of orthodontics in the Department of Orthodontics at UNC Chapel Hill. She is the first author of several articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
