Dr. Joseph C. DiSano has been immersed in the world of dentistry from a young age, inspired by his father’s dental practice in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Building on this foundation, he chose to establish and expand his own dental practice in the same community he grew up in. Dr. DiSano attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry, earning membership into the exclusive Omicron KAppa Upsilon honor society that honors the top 10% of the graduating class.
After graduating dental school Dr. DiSano completed a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry with the United States Air Force, where he learned many advanced aspects of dentistry such as surgical and nonsurgical endodontics (root canals), wisdom teeth removal, and IV sedation. Dr. DiSano served on active duty until the fall of 1998 at which he returned to Rhode Island to start his private practice, initially operating alongside his father’s practice on Main Street in Wakefield.
