Dr. Kelly O’Hara was born and raised in Bird City, Kansas.  She played collegiate basketball at Washburn University for four years before graduating with a degree in English Education and a minor in Journalism.  She then received a Master’s Degree in English Literature from University of Kansas.  Dr. O’Hara took the “scenic route” toward becoming a dentist by first working as an ESL teacher in China and an English teacher and coach in both Kansas and Nebraska. She then stayed home to start a family of four children with her husband, before going back to school at the University of Nebraska and eventually going on to become a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.
