Dr. Tanchanco is a Delaware native, having grown up in Middletown. He attended Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore for his undergraduate studies, earning degrees in biology and psychology. He later attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He graduated with several awards and honors for his contributions to dental materials research. After completing dental school, he came home to Delaware for a General Practice Residency program at ChristianaCare to further advance his experience and training as a general dentist.

Dr. Tanchanco is interested in all aspects of dentistry, especially esthetically-driven cases that allow his profession to serve as an art form using cutting-edge digital technology. He is motivated to serve a diverse patient population in his home state to give back to the community that raised him. He is very excited about the opportunity to do so here at Smile Solutions.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tanchanco enjoys spending time with his family and close friends, archery, staying active by going to the gym, watching new and classic movies, and traveling.
