We recently welcomed a new, friendly face to our office, Dr. Martha Silva. Dr. Silva has had a passion for dentistry since the age of 5. Knowing that she wanted to be a future dentist she made sure to learn as much as she could by taking dental assisting courses in high school and practicing as an orthodontic assistant in college. After college, she accomplished her dream of graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

She had unique training right out of dental school serving as an active duty dentist with the U.S. Army. Her Army experience was unique in that it allowed her to serve our soldiers’ treatment needs in a group practice setting with other dental specialists who mentored her.
