Dr. Zahedi has been treating children and adolescents in Jacksonville, Florida, for 25 years. She has completed specialized training in the recognition and treatment of dental diseases of children at Howard University in Washington D.C. and became a board-certified Pediatric dentist in 1995. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her undergraduate training was at the Isfahan University of Medical Science in Isfahan, Iran.
As a particular point of interest, Dr. Zahedi observed and monitored growth and development in children closely and spent many hours of additional training in the field of Orthodontics. She can treat early developing malocclusion and bad bite and believes growth modification is a fantastic opportunity for pediatric dentists to help their young guests reach their optimal growth potential.
