I was raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where I was actively involved with competitive swimming, music performance, and community theater/improv comedy. I have a younger sister and three older brothers, who are all musicians as well (to this day I’m not sure why we never started a starving artist family band). I completed my undergraduate education at Southeast Missouri State University, where I explored my passions for science, dentistry, music, and international studies. I decided to broaden my horizons and travel far and wide to attend dental school in . . . Missouri (hey, what can I say? I like it here!) where I spent my first two years in Kirksville and the last two in St. Louis. I graduated in May 2019 with my doctorate in dental medicine. My dental career goal is to find the synergy between being a skilled professional and being a goofball. What’s the point of making teeth beautiful if you can’t make the person smile?
