Dr. Tyler Bond was born in the Pacific Northwest in the Seattle area. For his undergraduate education he attended Brigham Young University. He then moved to Arizona to attend dental school at Midwestern University Glendale. He served in the United States Navy following the prestigious HPSP scholarship program. He has been married to his sweetheart, Rachel, for 10 years. They have 3 wonderful children and 2 dogs. He is a big Seahawks, BYU, and Griz football fan. He enjoys being outdoors with his family and playing complex board games. He is a rescue scuba diver and avid sportsman.
Dr. Bond is a general dentist with significant specialized training. His training consists of 1000+ hours of post-doctoral training, which is double the requirement a dentist would need for their entire career. He also completed numerous rotations and externships with oral surgeons and periodontists while in the United States Navy. He currently serves as the President Elect for the Montana Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry and is actively teaching other dentists through hands-on and lecture formats. Dr. Bond is committed to providing the safest possible care for his patients. He is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and while in the military he trained in Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Tactical Combat Care, and Combat Casualty Care. At Missoula Dental Arts, we take blood pressure readings at every hygiene appointment and for surgery. For those undergoing Oral or IV sedation, we utilize an EKG with Capnography that will automatically record and track on a computer all your vitals and ensure the utmost safety.
