Dr. Salhan was born and raised in Kensington, Maryland. Dr. Salhan received his B.S. in Public Health from the University of Maryland in 2017 and then went off to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry to earn his Doctoral of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Salhan has well-rounded pre-doctoral experience. He served as a special care and geriatric clerk during his time in dental school. He also developed an affinity for the field of endodontics, which led him to spend a lot of his free time assisting the endodontic department.

Upon graduating from UMSOD, Dr. Salhan made his way to Palo Alto, California, to train at the Veteran Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System and Stanford Hospital. During his one-year general practice residency, Dr. Salhan continued to hone his skills in all facets of dentistry, with an interest in implant dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
