Dr. Marc Worob practices dentistry because he believes patients should have high quality dental care offered in a gentle and caring manner – for smiles that last a lifetime.
Dr. Worob is a native Austinite who has watched this incredible city grow from a quiet college town into this live music mecca. As a supporter of the local community Dr. Worob is active in the Jewish community. He enjoys delicious food and a nice bottle of wine so let him know if there is an excellent restaurant he and his wife Phyllis need to try. Their two sons, Nathan and Mitchell stay busy with school and the adventures that young men are bound to have.
Dr. Worob attended the University of Texas at Austin, loves the Longhorns and can often be found at their games. He then graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1979, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has been involved with many aspects of organized dentistry including the most recent position of President of the Texas chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Worob stays up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry by attending dental seminars around the country, reading scientific journal articles and being involved with local study clubs. He is also an alumni of the Pankey Institute. Since 1979 he has taken more than 3,000 hours of post-graduate clinical education and has earned a prestigious Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. If you can’t tell, he is a life-long learner and loves dentistry.
