Although he started college in Kansas City as a piano performance major, Dr Sylvester made the switch to chemistry during his undergraduate studies in preparation for dental school. Though he retains a love for the piano, his passions took him to pursue a career as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Dr. Sylvester completed both his undergraduate degree and doctorate at University of Missouri – Kansas City. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at University of Oklahoma and has been practicing now for 7 years with an impressive 10,000 dental implants and 3,500 All-on-4® arches under his belt.
Dr. Sylvester has also loved his time as a professor teaching courses on dental implants with an emphasis on full arch rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma. He continues to be involved in dental education as author of the All-on-4® chapters in the most recent Atlas of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
